In June 2021, Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. was established to develop the digital power business and accelerate its growth. Huawei's unique value lies in its long-term R&D investment in digital and power electronics technologies. Huawei’s business domains cover Smart PV, Data Center Facility, Site Power Facility, mPower, Embedded Power, and Integrated Smart Energy. It operates 12 R&D centers in regions including China, Europe, and Asia Pacific and possesses more than 1600 patents (by the end of 2021). With approximately 6000 employees, 60% of whom are focused on R&D, Huawei Digital Power serves one third of the world's population across more than 170 countries and regions.
